Xiaomi is set to unveil the Redmi K40S at its November event, in addition to introducing the Redmi K50 series, which will include three models. Rumor has it that this phone will be significantly superior to the K40 series models. There is no official word on a release date yet, but the handsets were expected to be unveiled in October or November this year. However, it seems that Xiaomi had a problem before the launch of this product.
Xiaomi usually launches its flagship handsets in the second half of the year. But now, a company official has revealed that this series of phones have problems due to the lack of chips in the production sector. Xiaomi Product Manager Wang Tang Thomas said in a recent interview that the Redmi K40S is struggling with production issues.
The Redmi K40S base model supports 33-watt fast charge While the standard model supports 67 watts of charge and the Pro model supports 120 watts of fast charge. In addition, at least one of the models will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Since one of the Xiaomi 11T series phones uses the Snapdragon 888 processor, it is expected that the Redmi K40S will be equipped with this type of processor. Reports indicate that in addition to this phone, the new series of the Chinese company will be unveiled at the Double Eleven event in November. So stay tuned for more news on this event.
