Careful review and evaluation was performed. Now, it looks like the company is working on a new, more concise way for users to report messages. According to information from WABetaInfo, the latest beta version of the WhatsApp application in the Android operating system will add a new reporting feature to even a specific message to WhatsApp.
WhatsApp's current contact reporting system reports an unsolicited message to WhatsApp along with four previous messages. It is worth noting that the four messages that are reported to WhatsApp along with the person's unsolicited message, give WhatsApp more opportunity to decide whether or not to cancel the offender's account. Apparently, this new feature allows users to highlight even a single infringing message, whether in a private chat, a group discussion on WhatsApp groups, or from a business account.
Users of the beta version 2 21.20.1 They use WhatsApp, when selecting a specific message from their contact, they are faced with a drop-down menu that has two options "copy" and "report". Selecting the "Report" option opens a conversation that allows users to report abusive jobs (in WhatsApp Business) or contacts, and their WhatsApp account will be blocked if confirmed.
The exact release date of this new feature has not been released for all devices. But the app's timing and decision to improve its messaging system is a response to the recent heated controversy against WhatsApp. However, we have to wait and see if this new feature can satisfy the users of these messengers or not.
