A poster recently seen in a Chinese store shows the design of the back cover of this series of phones. The rumored ZEISS quad-camera system is also featured in the design of the Vivo X80 series. It should be noted that in this series, the camera module is embedded in a circular shape, while in the previous series, we saw the use of a rectangular camera module. In addition to the camera module, the poster for this series confirms the presence of a dedicated Vivo V1 + ISP chip.
This is probably an improved version of the V1 chip we saw in the Vivo X70 series last year. The flagship Snapdragon 8 1 1 chip has also been confirmed by this poster and its power is to be used in the most powerful flagship of this series, Vivo X80 Pro Plus. It should be noted that this processor, which is Qualcomm's first 4-nanometer chip, consists of three parts, but now all processing cores are based on the new ARMv9 architecture. First of all, we should mention the main core, Cortex-X2, which offers a speed of 3.0 GHz. It also has three 2.5 GHz Cortex-A710 cores and four low-power 1.5 GHz A510 cores. Overall, the chipset has a processor about 20% faster than the Snapdragon 888 and consumes up to 30% less power.
The Vivo X80 and its Pro version feature a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display. While the Pro and Pro Plus versions will have QHD + resolution, the base version of this series supports FHD + resolution. Users of all phones in this series can also use the refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Vivo X80 Pro Plus, numbered "V2145" in the Geekbench benchmark, will feature 12GB of RAM and an Adreno 730 GPU for better image processing. Finally, we have to mention the triple camera system of the basic version of this series, which will be available with 50-megapixel main sensors and two 12-megapixel cameras.
