Last year, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi K40 series handsets in China. According to published reports, the company plans to introduce a new generation of these phones next month. As you probably know, the Redmi K50 family consists of at least three K50, K50 Pro and K50 gaming edition phones.
They go to the market on the side edge. However, according to the leaked information, the phones in question are equipped with old screens, so some expected to be introduced with a fingerprint sensor under the screen. However, the whistleblower claims that there is another model of this family that uses a fingerprint sensor under the screen. Xiaomi is also preparing a Redmi 4G phone that will apparently feature a drop-down display.
Meanwhile, the K50 gaming Redmi specs have also been leaked. Apparently, the body of this phone is based on the dimensions of 162 by 76.8 by 8.45 mm and it weighs 210 grams. Other features include a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD + resolution. In the camera module, a 48- or 64-megapixel camera apparently serves as the main camera. It also has a 13-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel sensor.
There have been various reports about the chipset of this phone, and although some sources have mentioned its use of the MediaTek chipset, now this revealer has claimed that the Redmi K50 gaming edition with the Snapdragon 8 generation 1 will be on the market. We should also expect to have physical gaming keys embedded in the body of this phone, which apparently is no different from the previous generation. In addition to the mechanical keys, the K50 Redmi display appears to be a flat gaming display, which is usually more common for gaming phones with a curved display.
Other features revealed include a 4700 mAh battery. Which apparently supports a charging speed of 120 watts. Some reports have suggested that a weaker model may be available, which will likely come with a cheaper chipset.
