Sony unveiled the new FX30 camera with a price of 1800 dollars

Sony today introduced the cheapest member of its FX Cinema series cameras, the FX30 model. Compared to the company's FX3 camera, which is equipped with a full-frame sensor, this new cinema camera uses a smaller APS-C sensor.

Sony today introduced the cheapest member of its FX Cinema series cameras, the FX30 model. Compared to the company's FX3 camera, which is equipped with a full-frame sensor, this new cinema camera uses a smaller APS-C sensor.

Sony's new FX30 camera has a new 20.1 megapixel APS-C EXMOR R CMOS sensor in the popular Super 35 format. This sensor is equipped with dual base ISO of 800 and 2500 and more than 14 stops of dynamic range. This camera is able to provide 24p, 30p and 60p video recording using the supersampled version of the 6K sensor. The FX30 can also record 4K video at 120fps but with 1.62x cropping.
