BingMag.com Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra battery and processor capacity revealed

With the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung had a very heavy duty to offer users the best of the Galaxy S and Note series in a flagship smartphone. Galaxy S22 Ultra managed to delight users with very good features such as a 6.8-inch Super AMOLED display, S-Pen support, Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 generation 1 chipset, 108 megapixel main camera and 5000 mAh battery. In 2023 Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, this will not be the case. We don't expect much changes in this flagship smartphone, but Samsung is planning to make improvements to the design formula of this phone. The tech giant will naturally replace some of the S22 Ultra's hardware components and use others in the same way in its next-generation most powerful smartphone.

Apparently, Samsung will use the same 5000 mAh battery for the Galaxy S23 Ultra as the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Although the company's next flagship interpretation won't have a larger battery capacity, it should theoretically offer users higher performance and better energy efficiency thanks to upgrades in other components. One component that will definitely be replaced in the Galaxy S23 Ultra is its chipset.

As you may have heard, it is possible that the Galaxy S23 series will exclusively use Qualcomm chipsets. Samsung is now planning to stop making its Exynos chips for the S23 Ultra and offer users interested in this flagship phone around the world the user experience of the Snapdragon chip.

Due to the high speed of the industry evolution Mobile, rumors now claim that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm's next-gen Snapdragon 825 chipset. Qualcomm's new chip will reportedly be introduced in another brand's phone later this year, but it should power the Galaxy S23 Ultra whenever it's ready to hit the market in the first quarter of 2023.

  • Samsung started mass production of UFS 4.0 memory for Galaxy Fold 4 It means that the processor of this chip uses a very different design compared to previous generations. Apparently, one Cortex-X3 core, two Cortex-A720 cores, two Cortex-A710 cores and three Cortex-A510 cores are supposed to be used in this 4-core processor. Along with this processor, an Adreno 740 graphics processor will also do the job. Also, according to reports, TSMC will produce the Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chipset with 4nm lithography.

The camera system of this smartphone will also apparently be accompanied by changes. First of all, we should mention the rumored main sensor of 200 megapixel S23 Ultra, which has not been announced yet. Currently, there are only two 200MP smartphone sensors: ISOCELL HP1 and HP3, both manufactured by Samsung. HP3 is a mid-range sensor and HP1 sensor will be offered to users in Motorola X30 Pro or Edge 30 Ultra. This new sensor is likely to be called ISOCELL HP2, which is expected to have 0.60 micrometer pixels.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is said to retain the periscope camera with 10x zoom. Of course, the use of the previous generation technology does not mean that the quality of the images will not be improved, because the Korean technology giant will probably increase the quality of the images in other ways. Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S23 series should include a base, plus, and Ultra model. Of course, we still have a long time before the unveiling of these smartphones and it is expected that more detailed news will be published in the coming months.

    • Samsung is not creative in chip production and investors are worried about this. !
