Samsung Exynos 1280 will probably be stronger than expected

BingMag.com Samsung Exynos 1280 will probably be stronger than expected

According to published reports, Samsung will unveil several new Galaxy A series phones tomorrow (March 17), most likely one of which is the Galaxy A33 will be. Now, based on information leaked from the Google Play console, it seems that this phone uses a chipset nicknamed S5E8825. At first it seemed that we would be dealing with the Exynos 1200 chip, but now, according to a new report, we are apparently dealing with the Exynos 1280.

The Exynos 1280 processor is said to be a 2-core Cortex-A78 with 2 speeds. It uses 4 GHz and 6-core Cortex-A55 with 2 GHz speed. The Mali-G68 also functions as a GPU with 4 cores based on 1000 MHz. Nor should we overlook the 5nm chip in question.

If these specs are true, then the Exynos 1280 would probably be a very powerful chipset for a low-cost phone like the Galaxy A33. It should be noted that the specifications of this chipset are very similar to MediaTek 900 Density, and of course we must say that the graphics processor in this chip offers a speed of 900 MHz. This means that the Exynos 1280 outperforms the MediaTek chipset in terms of graphics.

On the other hand The Dimension 900 is very similar to the Snapdragon 778G used for the Galaxy A52s last year. With that in mind, the Galaxy A33 could possibly bring more hardware power than the more expensive Galaxy A52s. If Samsung keeps the price of the A33 at the level of the previous generation, it will probably get a lot of attention.

Samsung is one of the few companies that has been making custom chips for its handsets for years. Is. Apart from mid-range and low-end chips, the company has allocated a huge budget for the development of flagship chips. The company's latest flagship chipset is called the Exynos 2200, which for the first time uses a graphics processor designed by AMD. Although many users were expecting the chip to deliver great performance, the Exynos 2200 has finally come out as a disappointing competitor. According to published benchmarks, the Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 outperforms both the Exynos 2200 in terms of both processor and GPU. Better than the Exynos 2200, it also looks better than the Snapdragon 8 1st generation. So it seems that in addition to competing with Qualcomm, Samsung now has to compete with the powerful company MediaTek for its flagship chips, which is increasing its market share of mobile chips.
