It seems that the prospect of the OnePlus 10 Pro series phones is approaching, because along with the spread of various rumors about these phones, today we are witnessing the presence of the Pro model. We were also in the Geekbench benchmark.
The OnePlus 10 series phones are set to hit the market in two models, standard and Peru, as the new flagships of the Chinese company. The exact date for the unveiling and release of these phones has not been set, but it is said that OnePlus Qata intends to unveil these products in the next three months of next year. Therefore, there is not much time left until their unveiling.
So far, many news and details have been published about the expected OnePlus phones, and in this regard, today we are witnessing the presence of the Pro model, namely OnePlus 10. We were in Peru in the Geekbench benchmark. According to the published information, the model number of this phone is NE2210, which uses 12 GB of RAM and Android 12 as the default operating system. It goes without saying that the processor used in this phone is Snapdragon 8 generation 1, which is based on 4-nanometer lithography and has an extremely high processing and graphics power. Of course, none of these specifications are surprising because we expected to see such features in this phone.
But the benchmark released shows Although the OnePlus 10 Pro did not get an acceptable score in the single-core category, it was able to appear in the excellent multi-core category and achieved a good score of 3469. (The score of this phone is in the 976 single core section). More interesting, but it's to know that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro in Geekbench, with the Snapdragon 888 chip, managed to score more than 1100 and 3600 points in the single and multi-core section, respectively.
We do not know the reason What it is, but the score gained by the new generation of processors seems low. We've heard before that the Exynos 2200, which will apparently have the same manufacturing technology and cores as the Snapdragon 8 Generation 1, does not perform well in the processing department, despite benefiting from AMD's graphics chip. This was very strange news because Samsung has invested a lot in this sector and does not want to lose the car to Qualcomm at all.
Now it is the turn of Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 to show a strange performance . Of course, we leave this to the fact that the software of OnePlus 10 Pro is not optimal with Geekbench software. Maybe these privileges are real. OnePlus usually reduces CPU power for longer battery life. So perhaps the company itself has decided to do so. For the test though, battery storage makes no sense at all.
With all these interpretations, it still seems like we'll have to wait and see what more news comes out about the OnePlus 10 series.
