Recently, the benchmark results of this chip have been posted on the AnTuTu database, which paints a better picture of the state of this chip. iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have been used for this benchmark.

Some time ago, the first benchmark of Apple's A16 chip was published, which announced that it offers almost the same performance as the previous generation. Recently, the benchmark results of this chip have been posted on the AnTuTu database, which paints a better picture of the state of this chip. iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have been used for this benchmark.

In this benchmark, iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have scored 978,147 and 972,636 respectively. This means that the chip in question has improved by 19% compared to the previous generation. Also, considering that the standard iPhone 14 models use the chip of the iPhone 13 Pro models, we can use this comparison for the difference in the performance of the iPhone 14 series models. Of course, we should note that the standard iPhone 14 models have 6 GB of RAM, unlike the previous generation.

According to this benchmark Apple's in-chip A16 processor has improved by 17% and the graphics processor offers 28% faster speed. Considering the significant increase in GPU speed, it is unclear why Apple did not mention this at the iPhone 14 series launch event. In general, this is considered one of the best upgrades of iPhone chips compared to the previous generation.

For example, last year, the chip in the iPhone 13 Pro models compared to the previous generation, i.e. the iPhone 12 series, with 17 and 19% speed. They mostly faced CPU and GPU. Based on the presented results, these new benchmarks were performed on the 1TB model, and therefore the results obtained will probably be slightly better than the results of the models with less internal memory. Considering that the new iPhones will hit the market in just a few days, there will be more reports about the performance of this chip until then.
