NASA has provided exciting details of the Da Vinci probe mission that will reveal the planet Venus to humans behind the thick clouds.

Da Vinci will be launched in 2029 (1408 solar). By 2030, the spacecraft will make two close transits across the planet, collecting up to 60 gigabytes of data about the atmosphere and surface along its path by remotely measuring infrared and ultraviolet waves. The third encounter with Venus will take place in June 2031. This region is a "Tesserae", meaning very rugged highlands, which is one of the oldest structures on the surface of the second planet closest to the Sun.

At an altitude of 67 km, the Da Vinci spacecraft has its own heat shield Releases and opens a parachute and then studies the atmosphere of the planet Venus. In total, it will take about an hour to reduce its height to the surface of the planet. About 30 kilometers away, the Da Vinci probe goes under the clouds of Venus, giving it the opportunity to explore the alpha zone from a height. It is not designed to work on the surface of Venus and all measurements must be taken before landing. But if the device can survive a speed of about 50 kilometers per hour during an impact, as well as extreme pressure and temperature, it can communicate with Chris's orbiter for another 17 to 18 minutes.
