The Motorola Razer 3 may be the first clamshell phone with the 1st generation Snapdragon 8 Plus

Motorola released a new poster hours ago. In the center of this poster, you can see the 1st generation Snapdragon 8 Plus chipset. In the lower part of the poster, we see a clamshell phone whose light coming out of the screen puts the chipset in the center of attention. Although the design does not explicitly name the clamshell, the company is reportedly only building a clamshell called the Motorola Razer 3.
So it seems Motorola intends to Is using the powerful Snapdragon 8 Plus 1st generation chipset for this clamshell phone. There have not been many reports about this phone yet, but if this feature is implemented, it will probably be the first clamshell phone equipped with this chip.
It is worth mentioning that Motorola, which is a subsidiary of Lenovo, is going to be the first Launch a phone based on this chip, which of course will not be a foldable phone. But given the extensive business relationship between Motorola and Qualcomm, we may see the release of the Razer 3 with this chip in the near future.
Some time ago, the first real image of the Razr 3 was released, the design of which is somewhat reminiscent of Galaxy Z Flip 3. As in previous generations, we no longer see a large bulge in the lower part of the body, and as a result, the body has become more integrated as a whole. This image does not show much detail of the external display, but overall it seems to have a larger external display compared to the Z Flip 3. Also on the back panel, unlike the previous two generations, we see the use of dual cameras.
Of course, some whistleblowers say that Motorola intends to launch two models of this phone. One of these models has a Snapdragon 8 generation 1 and the second model uses the Plus version of this chip. We can not say for sure yet about the release date of this phone, but we will probably see its unveiling this summer.
