Like the Surface 4 laptop series, the Surface Laptop 5 will be available in two models with a 13.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2256 x 1504 and a 15-inch model with a resolution of 2496 x 1664.

The smaller model will be powered by Intel's 12th generation Core i5-1235U and Core i7-1255U processors, while the larger 15-inch laptop will rely on the Core i7-1255U processor. The storage space of this laptop starts from 256 GB in the basic model and goes up to 1 TB. Meanwhile, the LPDDR5x RAM memory of this device supports at least 8 and maximum 32 GB. Microsoft has also used Intel's Iris Xe graphics in this device. For Surface Laptop 5, they have considered the same as Surface Pro 9 and they are going to provide it with olive green color. Of course, we must mention that this new color will be only for the 13.5-inch model. The larger 15-inch Surface 5 laptop is only available in matte black or silver.

Other specifications of the Surface Laptop 5 remain largely unchanged from the Surface Laptop 4.

Microsoft will begin shipping its Surface Laptop 5 models on November 3, starting at $999.99. It starts at $1,299.99 for the 13.5-inch model and $1,299.99 for the 15-inch version.
