How to scan and translate the content of images with Google Translate?

You have two ways to do this. The first method is to point your camera towards the desired image so that Google translate starts the scanning process. But if the desired image is already saved in your phone, you can enter it into Google translate to start the translation process.
Using the phone camera
For example, if you have gone to a restaurant in a foreign country and you want to translate the names of the dishes on the menu, first tap on the Camera option in the translate app, which you can find on the right side of the lower part.
This will open a new page. In the upper part of the page, you can specify the source and destination languages. If you do not know the source language, select the Detect Language option so that Google translate will automatically detect this language.
At the bottom, tap Instant. Move to the side of the
desired text so that the translation process starts at the same
time. You can't read the translated text very well, you can first
tap on the scan option and then take a photo to start the
translation process from the recorded photo.
Using the photos on your phone
If you want to translate the content of some photos stored in the phone with Google Translate, you can easily do this. For this, open the translate app and then click on the Camera option.
In the new page, Specify the source and destination languages at the top. By selecting the Detect Language option, the source language will be detected automatically. Tap Import.
Then in this section you can select the desired photo.
Google translate first detects recognizable texts and you have to select the parts you want to translate with your finger.
If you also want all the text to be selected, select the Select All option.
