Samsung apparently wants to stop the production of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Buds Pro in order for its new products to be more successful, but in an interesting move, it decided to price Reduce Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Samsung has finally unveiled its new products after a long wait. These products include the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the Z Flip 4, the Galaxy Watch 5 series, and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, each of which has been unveiled with somewhat of a positive change compared to the previous one. However, it doesn't matter if these phones can sell successfully or not; The problem is that Samsung wants to stop the production of their previous generation, and this is definitely not good news for those who are not interested in the new models for any reason.

Of course, this is a completely natural process. With the introduction of a new product, the production of the old product, good or bad, is usually stopped so that the company can earn money by selling its new products. Especially, Samsung was able to attract the positive opinion of many users with the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 series. Last year, the Korean company was able to sell Z Flip 3 far beyond its ability and expectations. While this phone was not expected to have double-digit sales after only three generations, which has not yet reached maturity, but Samsung was able to sell 25 million units of it in its own country.

Galaxy Z Flip 4 is currently a good product on paper and is no different from its previous generation, and if it is, it is positive, so users have good reasons to buy it. That's why Samsung decided to think a little more rationally about Z Flip 3 and keep this phone in the market, but at a much lower price. It was smart. First, Z Flip 3 is still popular and users tend to buy it. Second, Galaxy Z Flip 4 has many positive features that users will not want to hesitate between it and the previous generation. So those who won't prefer Z Flip 4 to Z Flip 3 won't change their mind. Knowing this, Samsung has kept this phone in the market for now so that it can get profit from its sale.

Galaxy Z Fold 3, however, which is also available at a very high price ($1800), is likely to be discontinued in the near future. Of course, you can get this phone through Amazon or retailers that still have stock. When we say discontinued, we mean that from a certain date onwards, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will no longer be available through Samsung's own website. The price of this phone on Amazon is much lower than the initial price, but it is unlikely that Samsung will offer it again at a discount in the future, because we will have to see its production stop.

The same thing happened with the Galaxy Buds Pro. A similar has happened. Galaxy Buds 2 Pro came to replace Buds Pro and not Buds 2. So if a model is going to be discontinued, it should be the Buds Pro, which is happening. This product is no longer available at the Samsung Store in the US. Interestingly, the Buds Pro is still available for sale at $200 on Samsung's regional business website, but the consumer website has removed it.

The interesting thing is that Galaxy Buds Live, which is a product Samsung is two generations ago, it is still produced, and it can be purchased through the Samsung store at a much lower price than the original price. Compared to the Galaxy Buds 2 and Pro, these Buds had much weaker sales, but still, Samsung decided to keep it in the market, but with a price reduction of almost $70, which was a very smart and persuasive decision.
