The exact size of the iPhone 14 Pro's display hole has been determined

BingMag.com The exact size of the iPhone 14 Pro's display hole has been determined

Recently, a picture of the front view of the iPhone 14 Pro (or Pro Max) was released, thanks to which we were able to see the exact size of the two holes on the screen.

iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are supposed to have two relatively small holes on their screen so that there is no more news about the big and not so popular notch. But there is a lot of talk about the size of these two holes. For example, we first heard that these two holes are very small; We found out later that this is not the case at all, and it seems that Apple only removed the edges around the notch and did not change the remaining size. But it seems that we finally know the exact size of these holes.

After five years of using the notch for its phones, Apple has finally decided to replace it with something more common and at the same time more beautiful, namely the hole. So that the users of this company can taste the full screen screens to some extent. But Apple, as always, wants to stay different from other companies; As a result, the holes that are to be placed on the screen of the iPhone 14 series phones, or at least the two models Pro and Pro Max, will be designed in two ways.

ShrimpApplePro, which first revealed information about the design of the new iPhones in September 2021, just before the unveiling of the iPhone 13 series, the size of these holes will be slightly larger than we thought. Of course, we already knew about this, but now we can, thanks to the images published by this whistleblower, know their exact size.

Since Apple phones are equipped with sophisticated face recognition technology that It needs a lot of parts to do the job, it is not possible for the American company to simply consider a small hole for its phones, as we see in Android phones. Unless he decides to give up this sensor and use the fingerprint sensor under the screen, that is unlikely to happen because then the iPhones will look like Android phones in two ways, and Apple does not want that at all. As a result, the company seems to want to embed a selfie camera and infrared sensor in a large hole, and a spot emitter inside a smaller hole next to it.

ShrimpApplePro also shared an image to show what the exact size of the two holes is. This image was shared on Weibo but is said to be quite authentic and conclusive. According to this image, the diameter of the circular hole is exactly 5,631 millimeters, which seems to be about three times its size for a larger hole.

As mentioned earlier, Apple He just removed the edge around the notch and kept whatever was left on the iPhone screen as the overall size of the pieces did not appear to have changed much. Of course, this design is more beautiful than before and certainly takes up less space, but the final design may not be what we saw before in the beautiful concept images. Below you can see the iPhone 13 with and without notch margins.

Apple will probably have four more this year The flagship model is on the market, with the difference that it is no longer a mini model. In fact, this year we will have two phones with a size of 6.1 inches and two phones with a size of 6.7 inches, which are registered as iPhone 14 and 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max and 14 Pro Max, respectively. Pro models will likely use a 48-megapixel main camera instead of a 12-megapixel one. It is also said that the material used in the construction of Peruvian models will be titanium. In general, all phones in this series will use a slimmer camera module, circular volume control keys and A16 bionic chip.
