In this regard, a whistleblower called "DealsDrone" recently shared some information about this new DJI drone along with some images on Twitter. A look at these leaked images, which are likely from a production unit, show major changes from the Mavic 3 and emphasize that the Mavic 3 Classic will be a cheaper alternative to the company's flagship drones. One of the most important changes of this new drone has been the removal of the telephoto camera.

Apparently, in order to reduce the price of this product, DJI was forced to use this camera based on a 1/2 CMOS sensor with a focal length of 162 mm and a field of view. 15 degrees (FOV), don't put it on the Mavic 3 Classic. In addition, the leaker's information indicates that the Mavic 3 Classic retains the original camera based on the Mavic 3's four-thirds 20-megapixel sensor and has a focal length of 24 mm with an aperture of f/2.8 to f/11.

Furthermore, we expect this drone to be based on Hasselblad's camera. We should mention that in 2017, DJI invested in Hasselblad, which is considered one of the most famous manufacturers of professional cameras, and is now one of the shareholders of this company. Apparently, the Mavic 3 Classic drone could have a 2-axis gimbal instead of the 3-axis gimbal that the Mavic 3 has. It is also said that this drone will support Mavic 3's object detection technology.

As a reminder, we must mention that the Mavic 3 drone, which was made available to users in the middle of autumn last year, has a price of 2199 dollars and is capable of ProRes video recording. It doesn't support it, but it does offer 4K video recording at 120 fps. This drone is equipped with a 24mm main lens and a hybrid telephoto lens that provides users with 28x digital zoom. Like its predecessor, Mavic 3 uses omnidirectional sensing capabilities, with the difference that its sensors are able to detect objects even at a distance of 200 meters. Other features of this powerful drone include RTH (return to home), APAS 5.0 and ActiveTrack 5.0. Also, this drone will be able to fly for up to 46 minutes.

At the moment, it is not clear when DJI will unveil the new Mavic 3 Classic drone, but we expect more and more detailed news about it in the coming days. This new product should be mentioned in the news media.
