Comparison of Pixel 6 Pro camera with Galaxy S21 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro Max in zoom

BingMag.com Comparison of Pixel 6 Pro camera with Galaxy S21 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro Max in zoom

In this article, we will compare the camera performance of the Pixel 6 Pro phones with the Galaxy S21 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro Max in different conditions in the zoom section to see Which flagship can ultimately win?

Google unveiled the Pixel 6 series handsets this fall. The flag bearers, who do not seem to be in the shadows as before, have come to compete with the best in the market in all sectors. Although the Pixel 6 Pro and its smaller sibling are significantly weaker in terms of hardware power than competitors such as the Galaxy S21 Ultra or iPhone 13 Pro Max, thanks to Google's proprietary chip and hardware-compatible operating system, users feel no problem doing different things. They will not.

But what we are going to cover in this article, although directly related to the chip used in the handsets, is not about their power. In fact, we are going to examine the quality of the three Pixel 6 Pro, Galaxy S21 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro Max in the field of zoom photography to see which product can perform better in this area than other competitors. Naturally, the better the processor in terms of image processing, the better the optical zoom, the better the results.

In the previous articles, we examined the camera performance of these three phones in different conditions, and each Once in a while, more reviews will be published in other sections, all of which we will provide to you. But in terms of magnification, we see one of the most interesting reviews because all three phones really do a great job in this area. Of course, Apple's representative does not have a very powerful camera in this area. Power is not meant to be quality, but rather a camera with the ability to zoom in multiple times. We put them in and we know how they work. It remains to be seen how the Pixel 6 Pro, which Google has limited its ability to zoom to 20 times to compete with the best in the market, will perform against the best in the market.

Scenes show that all five scenes were captured by the Pixel 6 Pro, but then the images captured by these phones are compared at different zoom levels. Note that the only product that can zoom in more than 20 times is the Galaxy S21 Ultra. In fact, the zoom of this phone in digital mode reaches 100 times, but in optical mode, it is limited to 3 and 10 times.

Before comparing the Pixel 6 Pro camera with its powerful competitors, it is better to take a brief look. Let's take a look at the specifications of the three phones on paper to see what is expected of them in terms of zoom. iPhone 13 Pro Max 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.9 aperture 108-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture > 12-megapixel with f/1.5 aperture Ultra-wide camera 12-megapixel 12-megapixel 12-megapixel strong 48-megapixel telephoto camera with f/3.5 aperture with 4x optical zoom 10-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture with 3x optical zoom > 12 megapixels with f/2.8 aperture with 3x optical zoom No second telephoto camera 10 megapixels with f/4.9 aperture with 10x optical zoom No

According to the specifications on paper, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to perform very well as well as Samsung's best flagship in 2021, as well as very comfortable work. Now we have to see what happens in practice.

The image you see, as mentioned, was captured by the Pixel 6 Pro in normal mode, but then check the performance The other three phones will zoom in on the same image.

3x zoom, as you probably know, thanks to special zoom lenses Compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Galaxy S21 Ultra, they perform better than the Pixel 6 Pro. In fact, Google's representation does not differ significantly from its competitors, not by a significant difference. The Pixel 6 Pro uses a 4x zoom camera, which means that if it wants to capture images with a 3x zoom, it has to do so with its main camera. So what you see above is the image captured with the main camera and digital zoom of this phone, while the other two phones recorded it with their telephoto camera.

As a result, the image is Pixel 6 Pro recorded is very soft and the details are not very clear. On the other hand, the Galaxy S21 Ultra was able to capture the sharpest image. The iPhone 13 Pro Max, which captures an incredibly good image, sits almost between the two phones.

but when you zoom in 4 times We add that the Pixel 6 Pro can take full advantage of its telephoto camera and capture a much better image than before. Of course, the Galaxy S21 Ultra still captures the sharpest image in this area, but the iPhone 13 Pro Max, due to the sharpening of the image software, has created a kind of artificial state in its corners.

When we increase the zoom to 10 times, we see that again the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the Pixel 6 Pro move perfectly shoulder to shoulder, and this is very interesting because the Pixel 6 Pro is not a camera at all. It does not have 10x optical zoom capability, but why the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Had to capture images softer. The iPhone 13 Pro Max is not compared to the other two phones at all in this competition, because the images recorded by this phone are not of good quality at all. Of course, the Apple dealer does not have the ability to zoom up to 10 times, and although it bears the name of the flagship, but in terms of zoom, the iPhone never managed to beat the Android dealers.

At 15x zoom, the iPhone captures images at its highest, meaning it can no longer zoom in. But at the same time, the iPhone did not perform well, and what was recorded was more like a work of art than an image that was supposed to be detailed and attractive.

The Pixel 6 Pro, however, failed as expected. Keep the details as long as necessary. Because it took advantage of the noise canceling algorithm too much and as a result recorded a very soft image. Of course, in general, the image captured by this phone is still better than the one recorded by the iPhone 13 Pro Max, and it can also be used to share on social networks.

We think it does not need to be very Let's point out the winning phone and why it won, but we just have to point out that the higher the zoom, the more image noise there is in the sample recorded by the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which is perfectly normal, even in This mode also managed to capture the best image.

Pixel 6 Pro is finally able to zoom in on subjects 20 times digitally. So in this section we will have only two phones and the iPhone 13 Pro Max will be left out. The Pixel 6 Pro, however, used its noise-canceling algorithm as much as the previous image, so that the image was recorded extremely smoothly and without details. Which has more details but at the same time the amount of noise is more. However, the performance of both phones is excellent because at 20x zoom, we do not expect the phones to perform well. In this section, as expected, the Galaxy S21 Ultra wins by a very short distance compared to the Google representative.

Although the other two phones do not have the ability to zoom more than 15 and 20x (Pixel 6 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, respectively), the Galaxy S21 Ultra can zoom up to 100x digitally. This is an image that this powerful phone can capture digitally at 100x zoom thanks to its quality lens.

In this image, captured by the Pixel 6 Pro, we are going to zoom in on the clock tower to see how our three powerful flagships will perform in this scene. .

At the triple zoom rate, it's still the same story we saw in Figure 1; This means that the Pixel 6 Pro did not perform well because it does not have a lens with a triple photography. As a result, it is quite clear that he recorded such an image through software and digital crop by his main camera, because even the sharpness of the image is thanks to the software and not the power of the lens itself.

Galaxy S21 Ultra But Captured the sharpest image, which can be said to be too sharp. The iPhone 13 Pro Max was able to have the most balance in this scene and capture the best image in all respects, which is not surprising. But we have to point out that Apple's representative can no longer zoom in on subjects any more.

4x zoom, 6 pixels The Pro was able to capture one of the best images with a telephoto lens with this capability, while the other two phones were forced to use a bit of digital crop because they do not have a lens with this capability. As a result, the image captured by the Google representative is the most balanced and closer to normal.

On the other hand, the iPhone 13 Pro Max seems to be doing its best to make a single image acceptable. Register and therefore the final result was slightly softer. While the Galaxy S21 Ultra managed to capture a beautiful and sharp image, it can be said that this software effect was not applied properly and this issue has shown its effect well around the clock tower.

When we get to the 10x zoom, we expect the Galaxy S21 Ultra to be the undisputed winner in this category, which it is. We have to put aside the iPhone 13 Pro Max little by little, because this phone is enough to be able to perform well at the same 3 times. Because even the specifications on paper show that you should not expect more than three times better magnification performance.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra Sharp captured the sharpest image, but the Pixel 4 Pro managed to capture the image Which is most similar to the natural state of the subjects themselves. This image was very challenging for the powerful lenses of our flagships, and the lenses had to be very high quality to accurately capture colors. But thanks to the correct use of its algorithms, the Google representative was able to capture the image that has the highest balance and quality in general. Of course, this phone is not far from Samsung's representative in this scene, and both phones managed to capture an image that is extremely satisfying.

At 3x zoom we know what happens. The Pixel 6 Pro used digital zoom to capture this image with its main camera. The other two phones used their telephoto lens to capture the scene, resulting in the Galaxy S21 Ultra capturing the best image with the most balanced exposure. The iPhone 13 Pro Max was also able to get the closest to normal in terms of sharpness, but could not maintain a very accurate and balanced performance in terms of exposure.

When we get to the 4x zoom, we see that all three phones captured almost the same image. That is, it is not possible to say exactly which one captured a better image than the other. Of course, if we take a closer look at these images, we will notice that the iPhone has almost started the process of softening the image, because it can not zoom in more than 3 times. While a Comparison with the Pixel 6 Pro and Galaxy S21 Ultra shows that the cameras of the other two phones have a slightly better performance in capturing this image. However, there is a bit of noise in the image captured by the Galaxy S21 Ultra, and of course, because the Pixel 6 Pro telephoto lens natively supports 4x zoom, it looks like this phone was able to capture the best image. Of course, we have to mention that we can not say that the distance between these three phones in capturing this image was significant.

At 10x zoom we see that Again, the situation is somewhat similar to the previous situation. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has lost the details of the corners of the image, the Pixel 6 Pro has captured a very clear image, and the image captured by the Galaxy S21 Ultra is also the sharpest and most noisy. In general, the representatives of Samsung and Pixel were able to show a very good performance in capturing this image. Do not forget that the image in front of you is recorded with 10x zoom.

Now let's compare the 6 Pro Pixel camera with its two powerful competitors in 15x zoom. Of course, one of the strongest competitors of this phone, the iPhone 13 Pro Max, can no longer zoom in on subjects too much, while it seems that if Apple had enabled it, it would have been able to capture relatively good images. However, this is the maximum that the Apple representative can achieve, and we see that the image has softened a bit and the colors are no longer the same quality and accuracy as before.

Pixel 6 Pro, but it was one step higher From this phone, but to remove the noise, it still spent a lot of sensitivity, so the image that was recorded looks a little soft. The Galaxy S21 Ultra was able to capture the sharpest image, which, although it looks like noise, has the highest quality. You can see this on the quality of the wires on the roof as well as the lines on the air conditioner motor.

Comparing the camera at 20x zoom Although we know which company wins, we want to see how good the Pixel 6 Pro was in this area. Appear. As you can see, the Galaxy S21 Ultra seems to be having a bit of an exposure problem at this point. The same behavior was observed in the camera of this phone in the recording of other examples.

But the interesting thing is that the Galaxy S21 Ultra still captures a sharper image, while the Pixel 6 Pro seems to have a watercolor painting without Recorded special and very soft details. Of course, this is not strange, because the Google representative can no longer zoom in on the subjects.

3x zoom, although expected Galaxy S21 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro Max due to usability The special lens performed well, but both phones failed to get the proper exposure (slightly less than expected), yet both images are sharp enough to figure out what the image is supposed to show. The Pixel 6 Pro performed better in exposure because it used the main camera as a digital zoom for this purpose, but this also caused the red lines to be recorded very badly from this distance.

The 6 Pro Pixel Telephoto camera zooms in at 4x, and this time it looks like the sheet is back. In fact, the image captured by this phone is not only the brightest image but also has the most detail. Now the red lines around the building are no longer badly shaped and beautifully recorded. But for the Galaxy S21 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro Max, things are not going very well because we still see poor exposure and loss of detail.

At 10x zoom, the iPhone 13 Pro Max lost almost all the fine detail and recorded them very softly. The Pixel 6 Pro still has the brightest images, but it seems to have overexposed the image. Although the image naturally looks a little dark, the pixels seem to be designed to use all their ability to lighten it if the environment is a little dark. 6 . .
