According to these published documents, all three phones in this series have the model numbers SM-S9080, SM-S9060 And SM-S9010 support 25 watt charge. The handsets will be available without a charger like last year, and the EP-TA800 has once again been chosen as the standard charger for them.
This news is probably very disappointing for Samsung fans who were expecting faster charging speeds. . It should be noted, however, that although the standard charger for these phones offers a maximum speed of 25 watts, the Galaxy S22 series phones may be able to take advantage of higher charging speeds.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 10 Plus support 45 watts of charge, which means Samsung can easily increase the charging speed of its flagships. But overall, this is not a big deal for Samsung, and it seems that we should not expect a change in Samsung's strategy for the S22 series either.
This is not the first time that the S22 has received 3C China certification. Some time ago, the documents related to this certificate revealed the battery capacity of the family's phones. According to these documents, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the only phone in this family that, like the previous generation, uses a 5,000 mAh battery. The other two models in this family seem to use smaller batteries.
What do you think about the charging speed of the Galaxy S22 series? Is 25 watts too low for flag bearers? Leave your comments with us and others in the comments section.
