After a long wait, Apple has finally used high-refresh displays in its products, which it calls ProMotion. Following the introduction of this feature, which is apparently only available to users on the iPhone 13 Pro and Promex, rumors have surfaced that Apple intends to extend the 60Hz refresh rate for third-party apps. But the good news is that, according to Apple, this restriction on the iPhone 13 will be lifted soon and will be available to all apps.

Most regular older smartphones have a 60Hz display. A 60Hz display means that the display is updated 60 times per second. The makers of Android smartphones, including OnePlus and Samsung, embraced the technology much earlier than Apple, and this type of display is a familiar category among these brands. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max with Super Retina XDR displays support 120Hz refresh rate, providing a new sense of fluency in iOS 15 for users.

After initial testing of iOS 15, which showed that many third-party apps could not refresh the standard 60Hz iPhone ProMotion display 13 Promeks go beyond, Apple has now promised to allow developers to take advantage of the incredible features of the 120Hz display and satisfy their users and enthusiasts. The company has announced that developers will need to add a new Info.plist key to their app in order to sign in, according to instructions that Apple will announce soon. In addition, an update that Apple plans to release will fix the problem of Core Animation not reaching 120Hz refresh rate. ProMotion is enhanced without the need for developers to write specific code. This saves the device battery power, which in case of emergency, the screen refresh rate can be reduced to 10 Hz. To increase the battery life, applications can use the 120 Hz display support of the device display in case of certain activities such as games. Apple will soon provide them with all the steps that developers need to take to take full advantage of the 120Hz refresh rate. On the iPhone 13 Pro models, the animation of other developers' apps, such as Apple's apps, can run perfectly smoothly and with high quality, keeping users and enthusiasts of the tech giant as satisfied as ever.
