Filippo was responsible for developing several Arm chips, including the Cortex A76, Cortex A72, Cortex A57, and future 7- and 5-nanometer chips. Filippo could be a key figure in Apple's plan to become self-sufficient in ARM-based processors instead of using Intel processors in Mac products. As mentioned earlier, this chip engineer also has experience at AMD and Intel, and was an experienced engineer on Apple's chip design team.

The former American tech giant was another designer. He had lost his chip. Jeff Wilcox, Apple's Mac's chief architect, who oversaw the transfer of Mac chips to Apple's own chip, left the company to join Intel in his new adventure.

Apple can finally find a suitable replacement for these two talented and creative engineers.
