Will Warner Bros. come up against each other in a fighting game? Batman vs. Gandalf?

Warner Bros. is building a new game with the same name as the Update. The game features characters from different Warner Bros. collections and brands, and is set to be called "Multiversus".

This is according to a report on the Reddit site. This was then confirmed by Warner Bros. with the registration of Multiversus. The post said that the game will be produced by NetherRealm. The studio is currently responsible for the Mortal Kombat series. According to the report, Multi Versus is supposed to be a Tag Team style game.

The author of this post then confirmed his words on Twitter and announced that this game is real. Of course, this is not what we normally expect from NetherRealm Game.

In August of this year, it was announced that NetherRealm was working on Mortal Kombat 12. The company has decided to stop making Injustice because its future is uncertain. Injustice 1 and 2 were relatively successful, but failed to act like Mortal Kombat.

In a way, Injustice was the DC Mortal Kombat version, but with less violence. It was a kind of fighting game that was suitable for most age categories. The series could not find its place in the world of fighting games as it should. The situation got even worse with the addition of characters like the Joker to the world of Mortal Kombat.

What information is available about this new game?

According to the same report, the characters in Multiversus are:

  • Shaggy (Scooby Doo)
  • Gandalf (Lord of the Rings)
  • Tom and Jerry
  • Batman
  • Fred Flintstone
  • Mad Max
  • Johnny bravo

This report states that the shaggy in this game has an anime-like state. In a way that fans will love. Warner Bros. later added this Ultra Instinct Shaggy to its animated title Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms.

Warner Bros. seems to prefer That does not bring Shaggy into the world of Mortal Kombat. Instead, he decided to create a separate game like his name and put Shaggy there. He also has a number of characters he owns alongside him.

Warner Bros. has a history of mixing different IPs. Lego Dimensions, for example, was one of them. This mixed up a number of Warner Bros. characters such as Batman, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and Scooby Doo. Even the company's latest film, Space Jam: A New Legacy, had Server Verse mode. In other words, its world was on one of the company's servers with different worlds.

Now the company has decided to update a game in the style of its name. This means that its roughness will be very low. Shaggy's presence is also a testament to this. On the other hand, it is possible to leave Injustice altogether. It is true that this game could not replace Mortal Kombat, but it had its own fans. For this reason, its cancellation causes inconvenience to many people.

On the other hand, its style is very special. The animations, along with the characters in them, are generally different from what NetherRealm experiences. So making this game for this studio will be a challenging experience.
