It seems that Assassin's Creed Mirage will not be the only new game in the series as Ubisoft recently unveiled versions with the names Codename Red and Codename HEXE.

Assassin's Creed Codename RED will be another open-world role-playing game in the series that takes players to feudal Japan. This game is being developed in the Quebec branch of Ubisoft. This studio has already developed Odyssey and Syndicate versions. The creative director of the game will be Jonathan Dumont, just like the Odyssey version. He also worked on World of Warcraft and Army of Two games in the past.

On the other hand, Assassin's Creed Codename HEXE, which is described as a different version of this series, is under development at Ubisoft Montreal. The studio has previously developed Origins, Valhalla, Black Flag and the first game in the series. The creative director of the game will be Clint Hocking, who has been involved in the development of versions of the Splinter Cell series and Far Cry 2 as a director and stage designer in the past. The game is reportedly set in 16th century Europe in the midst of the witch trials, and may even feature a spooky atmosphere.

Both games will be part of the Assassin's Creed Infinity game. Infinity will actually be the hub that connects the various Assassin's Creed games from old to new. It is worth mentioning that Ubisoft will also look to add multiplayer experiences to this game, the details of which are not available at the moment.

According to published reports, Codename Red and Codename Hexe games will not be released until at least 2024. It seems logical considering the release of Mirage in 2023; A highly anticipated sequel set in Baghdad that aims to bring the series back to its roots. You can see the published teasers below.
