Stacker 2 resumed development after a halt due to war
It seems that GSC Game World Studios has resumed game development after Russia invaded its country, Ukraine, and stopped making Stacker 2.
In March, the studio announced that the development of
the much-anticipated shooting game had been halted due to
ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and it was further reported that the
development team had moved from Kyiv to Prague. Now, one of
the developers of the studio, which operates in the official game
Discord channel, in response to a question from a fan about the
development process, announced that the construction of the
game is continuing. The second version of Stalker was supposed to
be released in December this year, however, due to the
current war in Ukraine, its development has been
suspended for some time and will naturally be delayed.
