Netflix has just released the second trailer of the
sci-fi anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, where we see
some exciting action moments.
This anime is based on the game Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red and is made by Trigger Studio. Rafa Jaki, who previously wrote The Witcher: Ronin manga, is the showrunner and executive producer of this animated series. On the other hand, Yoshiki Usa and Masahiko Otsuka are among the writers of this series and Hiroyuki Imaishi will be its director. Its music will be composed by Akira Yamaoka, the famous composer of the Silent Hill series. Finally, the character design of the anime is done by Yoh Yoshinari.
This anime tells the story of a street kid named David
who tries to change his goal in the metropolis of Night City, which
is obsessed with technology. to find After encountering Lucy as a
professional hacker, David decides to become an Edgerunner and
fight toe-to-toe with the city's most notorious criminals as a
Masahiko Otsuka, CEO and one of the founders of Trigger Studio,
described the anime as a dystopian world where criminal
groups with such as social inequality and violence. He states that
David is a teenager of poor economic and social status because he
attends a school designed for upper-class citizens. Unfortunately,

The released trailer showcases the technologies in Night City and the anime action scenes, which seem to be of good quality. On the other hand, we see David and his rebellious group, which includes Lucy, Rebecca, Dorio, and more. We also get a glimpse of how David finds himself on his new path and see him use different technologies. It should be noted that the criminal organization of the game called Araska also has a significant presence in the mentioned trailer.
