Honeyslug Studio and Annapurna Interactive have just announced the release of the adventure game Hohokum on PC.

This game was originally developed by Sony released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita on August 12, 2014. In this work, players must assume the role of a curious little worm like a wandering kite in the sky and travel to colorful and curious worlds waiting to be discovered. Meanwhile, they can interact with characters and environments to discover their secrets. While there are objectives and activities to complete, the game is still a place to have fun and roam around.

The game was developed by UK studio Honeyslug with design collaboration by Richard Hogg and Santa Monica Studio in It was developed in 2008. Hugg and Ricky Huggett of Honeyslug, who knew each other through making music, eventually became interested in making a game together. They wanted to produce an effect like Wandering Kite, where there were no conventional video game objectives such as a progression challenge or specific missions. The first parts of the game consisted of abstract images, however, Richard Hogg and Ricky Hoggett visited the free museums of London and were inspired by the town of Portmeirion and its indigenous cultures.

Finally, the game was released after 6 years of development and received acceptable scores. Critics praised the game's art direction and music, but did not find the gameplay very engaging. In general, one of the key points of the game is a wide world with a large number of characters and various elements for interaction. From diving with sea creatures to flying kites, each location has its own goals, activities, interactions, and secrets, and no two locations are alike.

Hohokum is available now for $9.99 on The Steam platform is purchasable. This game is also included in the bundle of Annapurna Interactive company, which consists of 23 games such as Stray, Telling Lies, Flower, etc., and is available at a price of $400.
