They were committed to providing the highest quality in all aspects of game development while maintaining a culture of caring for their employees. Rocksteady is well suited for a change in team leadership. We are very pleased to announce that the studio's production manager and original founder, Nathan Berrello, will take on the role of studio director and Dariush Sadeghian as studio production manager. Nathan and Dariush are incredibly talented directors and are passionate about continuing the development of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and other future games from the studio.

Jamie Walker and Sefton Hill also said in a statement:

Our decision to leave Rocksteady was a difficult and emotional one. From the day we founded the company in 2004 until today, Rocksteady has been our whole life. This studio has given us the opportunity to do what we love more than anything, making great games with incredibly talented people. We're proud of the studio team for the games we've all made together, from the first game, Urban Chaos: Riot Response, to the popular Arkham series and Suicide Squad.

However, there's something special about Rocksteady. That goes beyond the games we make and everyone who works here feels it. These are some of the incredible moments we've shared together over the years. The friendships that have been made and the importance and respect that this team has for each other have made this unforgettable trip very special. We believe members wear their Rocksteady t-shirts with pride because of how we treat each other and how we feel about being here. We want to thank this team for all their hard work and making this place such a great space.

Some of our proudest moments happened because of this team's energy and talent. The opportunity to work with Warner Bros. and DC on our childhood hero Batman games and ultimately create a culture where team members can be themselves and make great games together is so much more than we could have ever imagined. A very special element in this is the fans of the studio. Their excitement and support for what we do is the fuel that motivates us to be the best. We thank them for the energy and motivation they have given us over the past 18 years. Now that Suicide Squad is in safe hands and the studio team is better than ever, it's time to hand over the reins and start a new adventure together in the gaming industry. The choice of Dariush and Nitan expressed their happiness and wished them success and announced that these two will contribute a lot to the growth of the studio in the coming years.
