It seems that Rockstar founder and former game mastermind Dan Houser is going to build a studio based on Invest in blockchain.

Dan Houser worked on Rockstar Games for two decades, often as a writer and producer. Now, after staying away from the video game industry for a while and operating in complete silence, it seems that he has invested $13.2 million in a company called Revolving Games. It is interesting to know that since its establishment in 2020, this studio has collected a total of more than 25 million dollars for the development of various games and Web3 technology as capital.

The company has two studios and a team of 100 employees working on building blockchain games across North America, Europe and Asia works. The company's first game is an MMO strategy and role-playing game based on Battlestar Galactica, which will be developed in collaboration with Gala Games and NBCUniversal. Its second game will be Skyborne Legacy, a co-op role-playing adventure inspired by popular Nintendo series such as Animal Crossing and The Legend of Zelda.

Saad Zaeem, CEO of Revolving Games, said in a statement:

Our vision is clear; Making AAA quality games that get noticed at top game shows like Gamescom and E3 among other top games. As the world moves from a developer-owned ecosystem to a player-owned ecosystem, Revolving Games will be at the forefront of this evolution while continuing to release games that rival the best of the video game industry's classics.

Houser founded Rockstar in 1998 with his brother Sam, Terry Donovan and Jimmy King and left the company in March 2020. Last year, he founded a new studio called Absurd Ventures, and it is currently unclear what the studio is working on. Finally, it should be mentioned that the game maker studio Everywhere, which is under construction by Leslie Benzies (Leslie Benzies) as a former producer of the GTA series, has recently announced that it does not reject technologies such as blockchain. Therefore, there is a possibility that this game will also use this technology.
