Electronic Arts (EA) has decided to make expansion packs for some Dragon Age and Mass Effect titles free. In the past, you had to use BioWare Points to buy these items. Now, Electronic Arts wants to reduce the value of these points.
The only exception to this is Copper Effect 3 multiplayer packages. You must still use Bioware points to purchase these items. Of course, this currency will be available until October 19. After that it will lose its value. After this date, players can only purchase multiplayer packages from the points obtained in the game.
Games whose additional packages will be free; They are Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Copper Effect 2 and Copper Effect 3. With this, Electronic Arts is trying to keep its old titles alive. On the other hand, because these games are old, few people are willing to buy their expansion packs.
Bioware is currently working on a new Copper Effect and Dragon Age game. Dragon Age is in a much more complete state, but it won't be released until 2022. The Dragon Age series has a long history and Bioware is trying to release the next title of this series in the best possible condition. For this reason, the process of making it was very long.
No new news about the next Copper Effect has been published yet. However, it is far from complete, and considering Dragon Age, Bioware doesn't focus much on it either. Of course, it should be expected that after Dragon Age, we will definitely see a new Copper effect. These two series are the biggest eras of Bioware and definitely this company will do all its efforts to make them in the best way.
