The names of the Sundance 2022 judges have been announced; Peyman Maadi is one of the judges of this festival
The Sundance Institute has announced the members of the jury for this year's Sundance Film Festival, which is set to take place from January 20th to 30th. The jury of the festival consists of six people who are going to award prizes for artistic and cinematic achievements. Chelsea Barnard, the producer of "Hurry Up, Hurry Up" and "Booksmart" along with Maadi and Heller, will judge the American Film Competition. The American Documentary Competition will be judged by Gareth Bradley (Time Documentary Director), Peter Knicks (Force Documentary Director) and veteran documentary photographer Joan Churchill. (LaFrance Hoy) will be the judges of the World Cinema Competition Section, while Emily Boyce, former US Ambassador Patrick Gaspard and Dawn Porter (the documentary director as I see it) will be the judges of the Cannes Film Competition. .
Joey Solovi, producer, writer, director and executive producer of "Transparent" will be the judge for Next Competition, and Criterion Channel's programming director, Penelope Bartlett, Kevin Jerome Orson (director of the short film Corners, Nose and Throat) And Blackhorse Lowe (director and writer of The Stray Dogs) will judge the short film category.
Alfred P. Feature Film Critics Award. Sloan, donated at the festival, will be given to South Korean director Kogonada "After Young" by Dr. Heather Berlin, Dr. Mande Halford, Tanuk Huerta, Lydia Dean Pilcher and Sean Snyder.
The Sundance Film festival is one of the largest independent film festivals in the United States, a venue for new works by independent American and international filmmakers.
