Right during the Halloween season, there are a lot of horror TV series that are going to air in the fall of 2021. Not long ago, especially in the early part of the new century, the horror genre did not have much place in television. There were even a few successful horror-themed series, such as The X-Files and The Vampire Slayer Weaving, among television productions, but the genre remained relatively intact. This trend has changed dramatically over the past decade, with the hugely successful animated series The Walking Dead leading the way.

The zombie genre is George Romero, but it seems to have nothing to do with Romero, and their only common denominator is the zombie uprising. This does not necessarily mean that the series will be bad, but anyone who expects to see a series similar to the Romero franchise should know that it really will not be. The TV series Day of the Dead focuses on a group of six strangers who want to survive the first days after the resurrection and are forced to get together. Chapter 1 will consist of 10 episodes. Many of the projects made under the name of Day of the Dead, directed by someone other than Romero, have failed miserably. So it makes sense for fans of this series to be cautious.

As we expected, the series is about a group of teenage friends who accidentally kill a man with their car and hide him, and then, a year later, are targeted by an unknown assailant. Madison Eisman, who starred in the Jumanji franchise and Annabel comes home, plays the lead role in the series.
